Tulane hasn't ever had a hoops program worth a crap?! In recent history, Pre-CUSA, we won conference championships in the Metro Conference with the likes of Louisville, Cincinnati, Memphis and Florida State! 1992-1996, 5 straight seasons with postseason wins, including advancing to 2nd round of NCAAs in '92, '93 and '95. NIT final 4 in 1996.

Levine is a solid recruiter and has gotten our star qb recruit O'Korn to turn down Wisconsin and (hopefully) stay committed to us and was one of the factors in getting Greenberry to switch his committment from notre Dame to us. Levine's current 2013 class is all high 3-star recruits with multiple BCS offers. If he keeps recruiting like this (and learn from his mistakes) I wouldn't mind that actually...

My Big East sources tell me it came down to Tulsa vs Tulane and that it was all that negative energy from Tallgrass that ultimately did you guys in.

Forget market size BS. #52 vs. #61 is negligible difference for definite drop in quality of football & basketball product that will be delivered.

Tulsa will need to dominate in both football & basketball to be

Well, ECU worked and lobbied and worked and lobbied, but it still boiled down to being the only half way good looking girl at the bar near closing time. I hate for all the remaining CUSA members as deserts don't always accrue where they are rightfully owed. Tulsa, Southern Miss, Marshall, heck even UAB have my condolences along with UNCC and ODU. I feel we were up front about our ambitions, but I think ODU and Charlotte were counting on us to be there. I hope CUSA finds some good replacements. Maybe APP St. will be tapped or FAU, but those are just guesses on my part.
