Haha +1. I still think it's a good idea for a promo that they hand out blue/white towels. Ya it's the Steelers gig but it would look cool in the stadium.

I was given a white ODU towel at the gate i think last year or maybe the year before.

Of course... probably a game I had to miss.

Alright Mr. technical thanks for pointing this out. I have 4 as well and Im pretty sure everyone on here knew what I was talking about.

Someone on here said student tix are free but the pilot just stated they are $5. also i like the reason whey the game is not a sold out "because people are shopping" hahahaha right

ODU has sold out all 26 football games it has played at the 20,068-seat Foreman Field in four seasons, but that streak could be broken Saturday. About 1,000 tickets are left for the second-round FCS playoff game against Coastal Carolina.

ODU generally sells out most games long before the season begins, and tickets often sell online for twice the face value. The school also has a list of 4,500 people waiting to purchase season tickets. So why the slump in sales? No one really knows, but senior associate athletic director Debbie White said the holiday season, and especially shopping, is a factor.

"And a lot of people just think we're sold out because we always are," she said.

Students can purchase tickets for $5 apiece. Tickets for the general public, priced at $20, are available at http://www.coxtix.com.

This sucks, I'm moving this weekend can't attend the game. Why can't we sellout a playoff game? Is it exam week for the students? The weekend weather is supposed to be nice with a decent temp. ESPN3 at 2PM right? I need to time my injury around game time

High school playoffs are also this Saturday. Likely preventing some from attending who otherwise would. Also keep in mind that regular season games are scheduled almost a year or better in advance, so attendance planning is easier for casual fans. Home playoff games are 3 weeks notice at best.

Student tickets are sold out, nothing at $5 was ever offered to us. (aka Minium is wrong) This is not on us.

Yesterday I looked and there were seats in section 104 row Q. (Home side, 35 yard line)

I know its sad, we should stay FCS

From CCU website, 2 full buses coming up, only 50 student tix left.

Should be a nice and sunny day Saturday, high of 62. Perfect football weather.

This is going to be a good game.

I have the feeling that we put up some huge numbers Saturday, especially thru the air.

Our secondary is off to a bad start...two missed tackles resulting in first downs already.

...and touchdown Coastal Carolina. 7-0 Chants, in about 3 minutes. Not encouraging. Our offense better be on point.
