Great game. Defense was unwatchable at times, nothing new.Taylor is the truth. Good game atmosphere today from our crowd and coastals band was garbage. Go blue.

Great game 12th Monarchs! Super fun game. Echo what others already said. Great 3.5-4th quarter from the defense. They CAN stop teams.

Arain... huge game.

Arain... huge game.

I wonder if it is really us "stopping them" or the other teams offense just gets worn our trying to match us point for point?

We really didn't do anything special, they just stopped executing late in the game while we continued to throw up 6's.

I guess our d deserves some credit for stepping up but when you give up 35 points in 2.5 quarters, it's hard to give much credit to anyone.

It seems just tire from playing games at our pace moreso than we start playing lights out football.

Hmmmm......regardless, I'd still be very interested in getting a REAL defensive coordinator next year, Dee clearly isn't cutting it. The tackling on this team is worse than most high school teams in the area and no, that isn't hyperbole....it was flat out terrible today.

We must have missed what, 20-30 tackles minimum? Is that on the players or the coaches? One could make a case that the coaches are putting the guys in place to make tackles, but you could also say they are teaching them how to tackle effectively consistently and they also recruited a bunch of guys who can't tackle.

Either way, Dee has been flat out terrible all year long. Sorry, no other way to sugar coat it. Thank god for TH.

While I agree that many holding calls were not called, I thought the refs did a great job of letting the kids play and not inserting themselves in the game.

I'd take this crew next week, if only they will call the illegal motion that Ga Southern will commit every freaking play.

I can agree with that. Just odd that 2-3 clear holds we're not called. Like drag the defender down holds

RE: Coastal Carolina
Great game today. IMO, that was the best crowd by a mile this season. The offense looked spectacular, clicking on all cylinders. The difference in this game was conditioning and/or depth (not sure if it was one and/or the other since I don't know much about Coastal's roster). The Chants put in a good effort for a time but they looked gassed from the 3Q and on.

RE: Coastal Carolina
Agree that the crowd was sensational. What's even more impressive is that this was our best crowd all season, and I showed up thinking it wouldn't sell out. What's disheartening at times is getting on my feet in every 3rd & long situation, only to get burned for a first. At one point I quit standing. Our defense becomes hard to watch over time...

Every time we had them 3rd or even 4th and long we started commenting that Coastal had us right where they wanted us!! TH sure looked like he got dropped for a safety that one play, but no call.

I watched the game again on ESPN3 after I got home. It was close, but replay showed clearly that TH got just out of the end zone before being pushed back. It was close, but they got it right.

RE: Coastal Carolina
Only the ball needs to be out of the endzone when the player is contacted. I watched the game over also when I got home. Unfortunately they did not show a shot right down the goal line so it was hard to tell, but I think Taylor stuck the ball out across the line before he was hit.
