That's right ladies and gentlemen, the Bearcats, pending a W at UConn (no small task i understand - especially in DEC), can win (a piece of) their 4th B.East championship in 5 years due to Rutgers and Louisville collectively shite-ing the bed today. i know there's a lot of apathy towards the football Bearcats of late, but this most definitely deserves to be lauded considering how this season has felt lost since Toledo (or earlier). Need a UC W and a Louisville W to get the tie. Considering i was going to root against Rutgers anyways, it all feels a little too convenient.

If Louisville wins, it guarantees a tie between Louisville, Rutgers, and Syracuse at 5-2.

If we beat Uconn we will also be 5-2 so obviously a 4 way tie.

Louisville would likely get BCS berth, but we "won" Big East last year too. 9-3, Big East title. with THIS team? ill take that!

For the life of me, I do not understand the apathy. How can you not get behind a guy like George Winn. The guy is having an awesome year. He does everything right, runs hard, blocks, catches the football, and plays special teams. There are characters like Kelce. We have an over achieving defense with Blair and the rest. People that do not like this team, I have to question your football knowledge. In my opinion, just about every unit on this team has over achieved.

It is remarkable that UC could still get a piece of the championship.
First things first. Beat UConn.
Then… Go light a candle at church for UofL to beat Rutgers.

Winn and Blair are the guys I will remember from a team that was annoying as heck to root for. So much talent but so many holes. Good enough to be in every game but dumb enough to lose a few of them.

We still can make this season a great with two more wins but its still our one our "worst" good teams which is saying something when you think about how Minter seemed stuck on seven wins or less for so many seasons.

I don't see UL winning on the road with a QB with a broken wrist. I'll be rooting them on, though.

UL plays RU on Thursday, so we'll know if UC could share first place before the Cats play UConn

Amen, brother. The powers that be all but wrote UC off as an afterthought. They've over-achieved in every way. Proud of my team.

Even if UL loses...our consolation prize for a win next Saturday is the Russell Athletic Bowl in Orlando on the 28th, more than likely against GT...that's not a bad step up from Charlotte vs. Duke

When (if?) Georgia Tech loses to FSU at 6-7 they may not even get the waiver to the bowl game.
