Oh man. That's ridiculous.

For one, this isn't the Ivy league. Second, in no universe can basketball be ahead of football in big time athletics. It's just not the way of the world.

Welp, the ACC isn't a soft landing spot for Pitt if this is the case. I see others bolting & quickly.

Louisville brings 2 out of 3 of the above, too. Like Meatloaf says - 2 outta 3 ain't bad.

RE: I sure hope Tony Greco is wrong...
Well Tony Greco laid it out on what he has been hearing from the Pitt AD office and it breaks down like this. The ACC feels...

1. Academics - Uconn
2. Hoops - Uconn and Louisville
3. Football - Louisville

Winner = Uconn

He says it is really cut and dry... Uconn and nobody else has a shot.

If it was that cut and dry, they would have announce that they are adding UConn by now.

I think two things are going on:
1) Fight between schools that finally realize the order should be A) Football, B) Football, C) Basketball, D) Academics
2) Trying to convince ND to go all in, if they do not want to see the ACC go away.
