VT pulls in DC as well as UMD, then they have Roanoke, Richmond, and Tidewater as well as some in Greensboro, Charlotte, and Raleigh.

It's the same situation as Pitt. The B1G already has PA because of PSU. The B1G now has Balt/DC because of Maryland. If they want the NC area, they could try to get one of the NC teams. The Virginia cities are really way too small to be anything of value for the BTN. I think Richmond was the biggest and it was like 60th in the US.
