It was funny, over on the MWC board they were talking about how it was embarassing to have a 4 loss Big East team in the BCS. But if Florida State holds one are MWC fans going to want the ACC stripped of their BCS bid? What about the rest of the talking heads in the media? Especially since the Big East would be sending a 1 loss team ranked in the Top 12 (should be the Top 10)? Man please let Florida State seal the deal on the ACC championship!

27-3 Florida State. Virginia Tech hasn't even made it to MID-FIELD yet this half, with the 3rd quarter about to end. This is complete and thorough @SS-KICKING by YOUR 4 loss ACC representative!

Looks like the Cards are playing Virginia Tech. Matchup wise I don't think that's a good thing. The one thing the UofL D is the worst at is scrambling QB's, so we'll see how we handle Tech.

There are rumblings that the Gator Bowl doesn't want the ACC title game loser. As of right now it's looking like Louisville vs Miami.

I'd prefer that but be surprised if they don't take Tech for their better fans. The one thing I see as advocating Miami is if Tech doesn't come back anymore the Gator may get scared that Tech fans will be so pissed off at their team they won't go right back down to Jacksonville like they did tonight.

And its over.
FSU goes to the BCS at, oh, #23
However, as far as BCS ranking goes, is it the highest ranked team in the conference, or the representative in the BCS?

It is the BCS Rep that gets ranked, so the ACC will get credited with whatever rank FSU has come Monday in the BCS Poll. Probably about 20 or so. I wonder how many complaints will come from this. So far in this 2nd year of BCS evaluation, the BE is now slightly ahead of the ACC with 2 more years to go. They would never strip the ACC so the BE is pretty safe right now. 04-cheers

That's a negative there ghostrider. The ACC will get credit forthe highest ranked BCS team, not the champ. The SEC, Big 12, and ACC got that changed to prevent being penalized by an upset in the championship game.

It would be sweet if the did have to count FSU though.

Shannon is right. The BCS gives a conference credit for its highest ranked team. But the champion goes to the actual BCS bowl. It's still nice nonetheless to see my call come through with an 8-4 Florida State representing the ACC in the BCS. Now watch the media try to spin this in favor of the "deep" and "tough" ACC.

better fans are u sh1ttin me... blah. i saw va tech fans in person last nite even chatted w/ a few. va tech fans are terrible if u seriously ask me. makin stupid comments bout havin a better record even though they was down 24-3.

my funniest conversation was w/ a va tech fan. i totally ripped the acc in their presance. i basically told them how is the acc so strong when u guys finished 3-4 the last 3 years and suddenly go to the acc and is the top dog. and this chick made the dumb comment we left cuzz people dawged our soft schedule in the be. i replied it must be softer now. even this one va tech fan agreed w/ me. the chick stormed off ed... va tech fans wasn't rowdy @ all. even when the score was close. naw if u asked me va tech fans are sorry
