Now that Silver of the San Francisco Chronicle is saying the Big 12 is no out of the running I'm moving this one into the wait and see category. If it was a done deal a few days ago and has not happened and now the guy who called it a done deal is suggesting the Big 12 is in play, then obviously this is not a done deal. What's afoot may be worth watching.

Update: By a vote of 12 of 15 the ACC will add California, Stanford and Southern Methodist in 2024.
