Not a very good job

NCAA cloud + one month before signing day + depleted roster + Mike Hamilton = Derek Dooley

Just had a UT fan tell me on twitter that there is only one SEC job "historically" better than UT.

They deserve what happens to them.

Well yeah, Alabama is really the only school that surpasses UT's history/tradition. Schools like Florida, Georgia, and LSU have passed UT in the past decade (for Florida the past two decades). USCe is a ****hole. What Spurrier has done there is miraculous. He's a hell of a coach.

Historically, Greece was a heck of a country.

He meant "hysterically" and that would be Mississippi.

Heard they're also paying off Mike Hamilton as well. Another name thrown around was Tressel (former Ohio St. coach). If Houston lands there, I'll laugh out loud. Petrino would be slightly better. Lock up the co-eds and make dang sure he's recruiting....for the football team!!!

UT had to settle for Dooley because Kiffin left for USC about a week before national signing day.

UT's problem is that, when they had things going back in the '90's, Alabama was on probation, and Georgia & LSU were down. The only real competition they had in the SEC was Florida. As long as these 3 schools are "up", UT will have a hard time recruiting the top-rated players. Those guys are going to Alabama, LSU & Georgia.

Now, the "positive spin" on this is that, all it takes for UT to get back on top is for Saban to decide to go back to the NFL, and for LSU to fire Les Miles (because he can't beat Alabama when it counts).
