It's not that you're a jinx in the sky box...more of not being able to get into the opposing team's heads from there.

Then it must be me! I was in the Club Section for the first time this season.

UAB is 2-2 in games in which I've chosen to sit in there, 0-2 when it is the first time (Tulane last year, Memphis yesterday)...

That bothered me, too, but it was mitigated somewhat by the hussle of the Golden Toe© .

He got shoved down at the goal line, hopped right up, and returned the shove.

Nice to see someone out there showing signs of life.

In the Marshall game, there was a confrontation between a UAB player & a Marshall player on a kickoff.

Ty ended up resolving the issue with the Marshall player.

Yes, but unfortunately, before he realized that it was a live ball, he spent about 3-4 seconds looking down at the ground and going through his kicking motion again after the kick was blocked -- kind of like how a golfer stands over an imaginary golf ball and swings his putter again after missing a putt. By the time he realized what was going on behind him, it was too late. At least he hustled and almost made the tackle, though.

Ya'll are sitting in the wrong Sky Box and/or Club Section.

I prefer the Green Seats.

The real ourcome of the games we attend is dicided by the number of times the opposing players get to "sit" in our endzone.

My 5 year old son had the quote of the day: "This is the worst football game of my life!"

Indeed, little Dragon.

RE: Smaug's $0.02
On a positive note, I really enjoyed my first season tailgating in the reserved area. I hope the TKE alumni tailgate will grow as we have a handful of guys graduating in May that follow the football team closely. We had good friends next us, one of which is a former player and really enjoyed getting to know them. All of you guys were great to finally meet and I'm looking forward to next year. Hopefully, I can recruit someone else for my tailgate that has a truck.

RE: Smaug's $0.02
My 2 cents
I'm not claiming to be an expert but here are my thoughts...was Coach trying to lose?
What good is having a back-up or second string player if you refuse to use him? It's fine if Coach likes AB over JP, but AB is not 100% so play the back-up. Is that just too obvious? It is not fair to the other players, AB, or JP.
He must really hate JP 'cause what an insult to not put him in, week after week this has gone on. Personal feelings should not get in the way of winning.
As far as defense...why are several players 6'4" and over sitting on the bench while Coach does his experimenting?
He may love Raab, but a 5'10" player does not belong at DE. The first game, maybe Raab was a surprise but the opponent is on to that now. He is listed as LB so put him there.
Really, again, what an insult to Boyett, and Payne, previously starters, okay eventually he did put Conner in.
If you don't have confidence in your second string to come ready to play in case of injury/ poor performance, you are really undermining the team.
Who will perform under those circumsatances...why bust my butt in practice, come game time coach isn't going to play me no matter how injured or poorly the guy ahead of you is playing.
Something was clicking in Ohio, and even SC, can we go back to that formula?
To me, it is obvious that Coach is not worried about winning but more about experimenting.
Why else would you continue to play under performing players?
I figured for sure after the half we were going to see some big changes, a big shake up. Should a Coach ever be resigned to losing a game, 'cause that what he did.
Don't blame the players, it is the coaches job to get them ready, mentally and physically.
...and Coach don't bother apologizing after the fact either, that doesn't fly anymore.

All i want to know is, if anyone in the media or close to the program asked why he has a deathwish against Ab and why JP cant see the light of day on the field?
