Notre Dame is legit this year. Most years they are overhyped and undeserving, but not this year. If they make it undefeated, they'll have beaten 5 top 25 teams, 3 on the road, and won't have played a patsy all season. Winning in Norman and at USA is absurdly difficult. Plus, they beat Stanford who is going to be top 10

While all your statements are factual, I've watched 3 or 4 of their games this year, and they just don't look that good, IMO.

But, they are undefeated, they earned it, let them prove their worth against the SEC champ.

I'm not a ND lover but this year they have played the teams in front of them and beat them all so far and most of them are not even patsies so I don't understand the hate this time around. They don't have a great offense but they do have a very good defense and thus at times they don't look so attractive compared to other teams but if they beat USC they deserve going to the BCS championship game

ND throttling Bama, or just simply winning (which is ALL that matters in reality) will be even better. Maybe, just maybe it'll slow the lovefest down to a simmer...........eh, not a chance .

The SEC vs the Domers...what a nightmare of overprivileged excess. The media will run out of adjectives and cliche's by tuesday.

It indeed will be somewhat sickening.

makes me nauseous

You understand SEC lovers and bandwagoners alike, drive that nauseous, sickening media. Right?

Not for me. I've hated ND for as long as I can remember. The only time I'd ever pull for them is if they were playing UT (edit: OK probably Ole Miss too).

Why will it be sickening?

The BCS' job is simple: See that the two best teams play for a national title.

Do any of you really surmise that any two of the four above are the two best teams left standing?

This would have been a great year for a playoff....ALA/ND and UF/UGA Part II...and ALA/UGA national title game...which is how it will possibly work out. LOL

USC QB Barkley is injured. I dunno if USC can beat Notre Dame w/o him.

What's your excuse going to be when the SEC wins another one?
