I've always wondered what this city would be like with a legitimate title contender. We may find out this year.

An NBA Finals in this city would trump ANYTHING sports-related that has ever happened here.....and yes, that includes anything Tiger-related...

I cannot even begin to imagine what it would be like in mid-June.

An NBA Finals in this city would trump ANYTHING sports-related that has ever happened here.....and yes, that includes anything Tiger-related...

And yet, we'd still have the same blue haired decrepits around here, spitting their usual.. "I'd rather watch (insert boring task here) than EVER watch an NBA game....GO TIGERS!"

Thankfully, that mindset is becoming more irrelevant by the day.

At this point, if you can't love both teams, you're pretty much going to hate living here in the next few years. The Grizzlies are taking over this city, slowly but surely.
