The Washingtonian magazine has posted surveys over the years rating the members of congress and senate by the capital hill staff (Many of who do love sausage). Frank consistently very high in a couple of categories, one of which is smartest. Above the partisan split. I will look for the links and post them.

Hey, Red Tom, since you are so concerned about my future plans, if we get any further into that "deep bench" than Hillary, then that's when I'm gone. I would have zero interest in living through the damage that any of those names would inflict on this country. We're headed for a bad enough clusterf*** as is, don't need any of those loons making it worse.
