Now though............ one media outlet is just the information wing of the GOP. Copies and pastes straight out of GOP headquarters. There are no easy answers but you are definitely barking up the right tree. I have no solution other than the PBS route.

There is no way to have objective media. All you can do is have as many different viewpoints as possible. And a free market is the best way to get that. If a viewpoint is not adequately represented then there is money to be made by presenting it.

As long as journalism schools and faculty lean hard left, and the vast majority do, then the default position of the media will be hard left. In that environment, there's room for a Fox to make money. The reason an Air America fails is because the left is already over-represented in existing media, so there's no unique market.
