The networks do a better job of not calling stuff early like they used to in the past. They only are calling the states that are traditionally big one direction or another. Obama carried Vermont 2-1 in 2008. McCain won South Carolina by 10 pct in 2008. Indiana flips this time from blue to red but that's still traditionally a red state.

They're really blowing it with this one IMO... If that were the case, why vote at all. They're calling it based on exit polling again. (the worst possible idea ever devised.. just ask Kerry about Virginia, or Gore about Florida).

How about they wait til some OFFICIAL numbers are in before they start guessing?

RE: OFFICIAL THREAD OF ELECTION 2012....
Donnelly has opened up a 33,000 vote lead over Mourdouch in Indiana in the senate race there with 20 pct of the vote in. It's very interesting to see some of the counties. For instance Sullivan County has all votes in and Romney won that county by 1800 votes, but Donnelly wins the senate race there by 700 votes. I think Donnelly will win that race and if that happens, I seriously doubt the Republicans will win back the senate.

Virginia totally depends on the two counties just south of DC. Neither county has turned in any totals yet. Obama will carry those counties but if Romney closes the gap from 2008, he should win the state.

WOW! Bill O'Reilly just said the majority in America thinks the economic system is stacked against them and basically want free stuff and Obama is going to win because they know he's more like to give them free stuff.

True, but dayum!

Tonight's propaganda message from Faux: It is Hurricane Sandy and Chris Christie and minorities fault for Romney's likely defeat.

Yep, has nothing to do with his utter lack of solutions, message, charisma, or the fact that he (rightly) comes across as a used car salesman who says whatever he thinks you want to hear.

The great thing about this country has been that do'ers come here to do great things and the majority of Americans have always been do'ers.

I think the takers have finally outnumbered the do'ers. I don't care if Romney wins this or not, its still a bad future ahead of us when the majority have that attitude.

Yes...but...It does not take a genius to make this submission. The evidence is all around us that this is the trend.

McCrory wins by huge margin in NC for governor. First Republican governor in about 2 decades.

No surprise...He ran a brilliant campaign of portraying himself as the bipartisan candidate that brings factions together to solve problems. I ran into him at Saturdays ECU/UH football game. He is a little guy. The camera really does add pounds and inches.

Politicos' being "bouncy' on FLorida... a couple of minutes ago they had Romney up, now they've got Obama up... so it's a wait and see still.

NC they've only got Romney up by 30K
