It takes me back to the Runnin' Monarchs of Sonny Allen.

I know it was just an exhibition, but I'm going to have serious problems if Batten is logging just 13 minutes and Larsen 18 minutes when things get real.

One needs confidence and one doesn't. That's why he's playing Larsen more. I'm just glad that people are not yelling "shoot it" every time he touches the ball...that's something you do to the other team.

Batten is slowly working his way out of the coach's dog house, coming into camp out of shape. He will be the 6th Man, the spark player coming off the bench this year.

i think that was just the 1st half was 10-12. idk for the whole game, but it was still a high percentage.

i think that was a typo. we were 10-12 in the first half on free throws an 16-20 for the whole game (80%). We shot 9-18 for the game on three pointers. atleast that is what the box score said on the website

Another strong offensive showing. I love watching us hit free throws. We looked better on D tonight, too. VSU had quite a few lucky contested shots. Painter looked better, and Larsen played with energy. I hope to see that translate to the season.
