I said you should want him fired, I said I realize it's not just because of this game, my only point was that you circle these "collapses" against SEC schools, but I just don't agree.

In every single one of those games, you were going against teams with more talent, more depth, and better coaches. It sucks to feeling like the rug is pulled out from you at the last minute, but it's usually just that the better team finally man'd up with their backs against the wall and willed their way to victory.

There are a few things you're overlooking, the late touchdown to Thomas that put you guys up the last time, shouldn't have been a touchdown but Tennessee's DB gave up on the play because he thought the ball was overthrown, if he doesn't give up on the play, that likely isn't a touchdown. Thomas still likely makes an incredible catch, but the defender could have tripped him up rather than watch him run for like fifty yards after the catch. Also, tell me what Rowell has to do with your offense not being able to put together a game winning drive tied at 48?

No I got what you said....But you dont give up 55 points like that. I dont care if they are SEC.

Tennessee was able to move the ball on us with ease. They arnt exactly a high powered SEC offense . Its like they scored with every possession in only 3-4 plays.

Their high powered offense is ALL they have!

Some of these folks are so blinded by their hate of Rowell that they won't let common sense enter their brain.

I realized what kind of offense we were going up against and that we weren't going to hold them to 30 points.

I am just glad our offense decided to show up this game.

And for perspective- I do think it is time for an overhaul inside the walls the Troy.

But I am not running around the room banging my head against the wall screaming "FIRE ROWELL" after every game.

I do get what you're saying about Troy, you guys are freaking close. When Mack Brown fires Manny Diaz at the end of the year, Troy should come calling immediately.

If Tyrone Nix holds to his original agreement of his stay in Murfreesboro being only one year and Manny Diaz ends up on the market and not snatched up by another AQ school, I think he'd be much more likely to come back to Murfreesboro than go to Troy.

I still see Manny's wife here in Murfreesboro from time to time. She comes back to visit friends and attend her old church (World Outreach).

didn't you guys win 5 rings in a row during those 7 years? thats a lot of winning. i think that some of you are not handling the fall from the top so well. maybe you guys should pump the breaks a little. i mean we had a coach that was mediocre at best for 10 years before we made a change. while i agree that something has to be done. i think he gets another year. since there is improvement from last year. not everybody can make excellent coaching hires that produce right out of the gate...TWICE!

Nope. Our defense was not good even in those 5 years of winning the conference. We just outscored everyone. Look at on the scores and it will tell the tell.

Only now the Defense has hit rock bottom.

And your right we dont handle losing well. We are like Alabama in the fact that we dont lose very often and probably wont stay down long. We are just on more of a tamer level than Alabama is....I dont even think Blakeney knows how to react to losing. Heck he has only had 2-3 losing seasons in his entire 22 years at Troy...and Now he is on the verge of losing 2 in a row if things arnt quickly fixed.
