It only takes one title to cut two in half.
How many titles does UK have?
And sure we would like to be in a BCS conference; any of them. Most preferably would be the SEC but if that were so we would like for the UofL to be right there beside us. Don't sense you have the same feeling - so be it. We'll see how much that UC rival plays out for you now.

1) Your math is most certainly correct. Even 1 title is very hard to get as we all know so we can have this discussion if it ever occurs. Even IF that ever happened, are we saying Memphis only steps up to the ultimate plate half as much? Not sure what the strength of this argument is.
2) On UK, I didn't realize we are discussing the Cats, but may have missed that part!
3) I don't oppose Memphis in the BE if it ever splits or a 9th is to be added. I certainly don't know who would be my #1 choice right now, that's why no one will be added for a while. We need to see who steps up the next few years, in football more than basketball. While your basketball to ECU is not even worth comparing, I think we all know the BE doesn't need more good basketball teams, they need a consistent football team first. If that happens to be Memphis 3 years from now and that means we get the basketball as well, great!

1) My math is correct, of course, and you made my point for me. It is tough to win a title. Hell, UCLA, UK and Indiana have won so many of them it didn't leave many to this point for the rest.
2) My mother is a UK grad, sorry.
3) I would love for Memphis (my alma mater) to be in the BE better yet the SEC.
Good night.
And GO MOUNTAINEERS! ____ on PITT!
