2 huge 4-star recruits pick Arkansas early this morning, helping raise the ranking of a recruiting class already ranked #25 on Rivals.com and #21 on Max Emfinger BEFORE these two.

Kevin Thornton, S, from Little Rock Central picked UA over Nebraska, South Carolina, and Ole Miss. Thornton was named the state's defensive player of the year by the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette, and led Central to two consecutive 5A state titles.

Felix Jones, RB, from Tulsa (OK) Booker T. Washington picked UA this morning over Tennessee and Texas A&M. This one was a huge but welcome surprise as it was rumored the last 2 days that Jones was a lock to head to Knoxville. Jones was named Oklahoma state player of the year by the Tulsa World. He was also recruited by Oklahoma State but wished to play out-of-state, so the Cowboys were dropped early from his list.
