Romney - Never Let A Tragedy Go To Waste
Mitt canceled all his campaign activities for today!

Except that he didn't.

He supposedly changed his 'victory rally' campaign event to a 'storm relief event' but still used it to campaign for the White House.

Gee Mitt...here's an idea. Why don't you have your butt buddy Trump donate that $5 million to the relief effort?

WARNING: This is what this guy will be as a President.

Yes.. Racheal Maddow is a very non-biased commentator.

Pssst. Tom.

Rachel Maddow might not be a Romney fan.

Was'nt Rachelle Maddow the ditz who got punked by a satire story last year because the story made Palin look bad?

The woman is a bore... All she has is "snark" and "DNC talking points".

Did she criticize Obama for trying to get people to phone bank for him in Maryland while the storm was raging?

Yeah, it would really be a drastic change having a President who is out campaigning all the time while disguising it as something else.

Quote:In a political culture that long ago surrendered to the permanent campaign, Obama has managed to take things to a whole new level. According to statistics compiled for a book to be published this summer, the president has already set a record for total first-term fundraisers — 191 — and that’s only through March 6. Measured in terms of events that benefit his reelection bid, Obama’s total (inflated in part by relaxed fundraising rules) exceeds the combined total of George W. Bush, Bill Clinton, George H.W. Bush, Ronald Reagan and Jimmy Carter.

It’s not just the gatherings officially categorized as campaign events. To a greater extent than his predecessors, Obama has used the trappings of his office to promote his reelection prospects even while handling taxpayer-funded business.

According to the same book, “The Rise of the President’s Permanent Campaign,” by Naval Academy political scientist Brendan Doherty, Obama was the first commander in chief in at least 32 years to visit all of the presidential battleground states during his first year in office. He has kept that pace, devoting nearly half of his travel to 15 swing states that account for just over a third of the population.

The election is still six months away, but it’s increasingly difficult to distinguish Obama’s political events and speeches from the official ones.

This was the case on Monday, when he spoke to a group of trade-union leaders at the Washington Hilton. The event, the morning after he and Clinton made a joint fundraising appearance, was ostensibly an “official” speech to the AFL-CIO’s building trades section. But it was a campaign rally in everything but name.

(Note that Obama's first OFFICIAL campaign rally was May 5th)

I think between Romney's poll numbers rising, the Benghazi scandal, and this NE storm, Lord Zero's pootyshoot is puckered so tight you couldn't drive a greased knitting needle up it with a ball peen hammer.

RE: Romney - Never Let A Tragedy Go To Waste
Obama once said:

"I'd rather be a really good one term president, than a mediocre two term president."

So in his mind if he loses the election, he was a good president.

Of course, Mitt deosn't think the Federal Government should be helping at all during this storm - that any Federal response is IMMORAL.

Why don't you tell me? You're the one who was in the White House, at the State Department, amongst the fleet in the Mediterranean, and on the ground in Benghazi.

So, you're adamant about where he wasn't, but can't tell me where he was? Come on, answer the question, where was he when our sovereign territory was being attacked, overran, and 4 Americans killed? He's the Commander in Chief, answer the fuken question.
