Bullet trains: CA and China
H2O is probably gonna make up some quote to try to make it look like I posted on the wrong forum. Don't believe him though, he's crafty and malicious.

I love the end, b/c all the libs on here complain about greedy CEOs, but then stay silent on the complete corruption that is their statist "overlords".

Most of the libs on HERE complain about their head coach and think the backup QB should be starting, exactly like most of the cons. The next one I see complaining about greedy CEOs will be the first. When they put a bullet train in Ohio to link MAC cities maybe I'll read THAT article.

C'mon, I think a bullet train between Athens and Bowling Green is just the kind of thing Optimist is looking for to take the MAC to the next level. In fact for that idea I think I should get my rep point back for my commitment to improving the MAC's lot in life. 03-lmfao And if we ever bring in schools from Sacramento and Beijing I'll recommend moving that other post back.

Lotta people in a certain W. Ohio berg were really keen on getting high-speed rail funded. Much chatter about a 2 hr trip to Chicago. Didn't matter when it was explained that if you keep stopping the train in all the hamlets from Cowlumbus to Chicago, it's no longer high speed.

Still, the proposed Athens/BG line is every bit as valid as the one proposed on Calif.

Someone make a MAC Bullet Train Map from Fargo to Amherst, hitting all the MAC schools.

OU is the real sticking point here. Why we're leaving from Fargo I don't know (unless LK has let you in on a realignment theory that includes NDSU in the MAC) but here goes: Fargo? to DeKAlb to Muncie to Oxford to BG to Toledo to EMU to WMU to Central to Akron to Kent to Buffalo to Amherst. I'm thinking some kind of trunk line that links OU to Oxford and Kent but I fear taxpayers may think that's excessive. Perhaps shuttle buses?

You left out Hartwick, which fortunately is right on the way.

No, you go to Athens, then extend the line thru Richmond, for ODU, then down to FAU.

I left out Chicago and wherever Missouri SW State A &M is, too but again, taxpayers may rebel if we try to include fringe members like those schools or Temple. We want to build for success here.
