Home- Nh, Nova, tribe, Del
Away- Rich, Towson, GS, JMU

We skip Maine and RI, possibly worst 2 teams in CAA(or 2 of worst 3).

NH- skips JMU and Nova
Nova- Tribe, NH
JMU- NH, Del
Del- Towson, Maine

We've have to "run thru the gauntlet" this year. Impressive to play as well as we have.

Nova has Towson and JMu at home Before heading to Delaware. I have to think they lose at least one of those games. We may not control our own destiny for best record, but I think we are in good shape. @JMu is gonna be for first place, imo

2012 FB schedule...a going away gift from the CAA.

If the CAA wanted to stick it to us, conference schedule would have included @UNH and/or @Maine

Well.....

At the beginning of the season, it was thought that we (and JMU) had the easiest schedules in the conference.

The only real travel was to to GSU.
UNH was supposed to be "down".
UD was "rebuilding".
UR and 'Nova were supposed to suck eggs.

Only JMU and Towson were supposed to be really tough games.

Yeah. The way it is shaping up, Towson probably has the toughest schedule. They have to play JMU, Nova, UNH and Delaware on the road and us at home. Then they made the critical mistake of scheduling Kent St. and LSU.
All that adds up to NO Playoffs.

Who knew that Kent State would actually be good this year. Bowl eligible for the first time in like 40 years.

Fine with that. It will battle test us for the FBS playoffs and will leave the CAA losers no excuse when we exit the CAA with the belt!

I'd rather earn it the hard way than be given it by getting a weak schedule.

Also, considering how weak our OOC schedule was, we can use the Sagarin points for playing a harder in conference schedule. So yeah, not at all upset about having to play a tougher CAA schedule than most.

I think Rhode Island away is an easier game than NH at home thus, the travel aspect doesn't really affect me. @Maine would be a very winnable game. I'm not saying they screwed us, just an observation that we may have the toughest CAA scheduel this year. The two toughest teams we were expected to play were both road games (JMU, Towson)

In retrospect, Towson may have a tougher schedule missing out on Richmond and Georgia State. Thats probably debatable.
