Yeah I heard that as well. No candidate with this kind of a lead in Gallup at this point has ever not won.

Will be interesting to see how it plays out.

Is this a 7 day rolling average? If so, wow. Romney will have gained a point after the debate. If that's the case, I guess we know who won.

What's the EC map look like? That's where it matters.

I don't trust any numbers these days, although that BLS scam may have backfired.

RCP has Romney leading the EC for the 1st time.

Romney takes the lead.

I wouldn't count Obama out just yet. He can still promise the world and there are still people stupid enough to believe him. In fact, there are several on this board.

Romney is only leading in the RCP map if you don't include the RCP "toss ups," and Obama has RCP leads in most of those toss ups. Obama leads 294-244 in the "no toss up" map.

New Hampshire 48.3 47.5 Obama +0.8
Nevada 49.0 46.0 Obama +3.0
North Carolina 44.7 50.3 Romney +5.6
Michigan 48.0 43.8 Obama +4.2
Pennsylvania 49.7 44.7 Obama +5.0
Virginia 48.4 47.6 Obama +0.8
Florida 46.8 49.3 Romney +2.5
Ohio 48.4 46.0 Obama +2.4
Wisconsin 49.8 47.8 Obama +2.0
Colorado 47.3 48.0 Romney +0.7
Iowa 48.8 46.5 Obama +2.3

If Obama wins every state he leads by at least 2 points, he's at 277.

True. This is the party that got Al Franken into the senate. They'll dig up votes all over the place.

Exactly. I'm betting the Dems have a massive fraud operation going in Ohio right now, especially via the early voting.

It's over. 7 isn't even close to a margin of error. If Romney is up 7 nationally, he will win Virginia, Florida, & Ohio and might even pull off a surprise state or two. Landslide.

Well, we know who DIDN'T win if Romney is elected. Those will be low/middle class working men and women.
