It's not about that, Tom. It's about the fact that you don't really seem to care to engage in serious debate on tax issues, especially when some very simple examples have been mentioned in this thread. Instead, you seem to want discuss who did what and when, or whom is to blame for what and when.

What do you think about the idea to eliminate capital gains taxes for people below 250k?

As an adjunct, what do you think about the general idea that lowering income tax rates for the wealthy actually encourages growth and discourages some tax avoidance?

These are areas you SHOULD be able to provide some valuable insight
