K.C. Obi is amazed at times when he looks at how North Texas has changed since he arrived in Denton in the summer of 2009.

The opening of Apogee Stadium, UNT’s $79 million venue, last season was without a doubt the highlight, but it was only one development in an era of expansion that also includes the addition of a 45,000-foot athletic center and the commitment of more resources than ever before to hiring a top-notch coaching staff.

“I see it,” said Obi, a senior defensive end, of UNT’s commitment to the program. “We have everything we need.”

Tonight, UNT gets a chance to make the nation aware of that commitment.
