I think it's more tiered than ranked.

I could see USA continuing to improve and rise up to Tier 3 level, FAU is just having a real rough year.

I am ranking Troy 6th simply based on the early numbers. Troy has 2 home losses to this point, with 3 road games left, I want to see how they perform on the road first before I go off moving them way up.

Both ASU and MTSU struggled with lower ranked squads last week so no moving for either. USA moves up to 9th with a strong performance this week. Could move up to 8th depending on how they perform next week.

Yes, but those were UAB, UNT, and USA. You have yet to face a real road test this year.

All of our tougher games are at home..... MTSU is the only road conference game that's a test.... FIU, ASU and Navy are left at home

FAU, MTSU and Tenn are left on the road

WKU - beat stAte and Troy, both away games.
ULM - beat MT away. Next week for #1 slot v. WKU
ULL - beat Troy away. Next two Tuesdays only allows us to qualify for top 3. Then the fun begins
ASU - a must win v. Cajuns or title hopes over. No big road wins to date. Schedule backloaded
MTSU - get past WKU and could contend for title. Better on road than at home. Conf schedule backloaded
Troy - cancel all remaining home games and play on road rest of year and you can finish 9-3. Just won't win Conf title with 2 losses already
UNT - bad news-had a tough 1st half schedule. Now for the bad news - 2nd half of schedule just as bad. There is no good news for any hopes of more than 4 wins this year.
FIU - no D - not enough O = 2 more wins this year maybe.
USA - good news both f_u teams left. Play like they did this weekend and 3 wins left on schedule possible.
FAU - goal for year - beat FIU..

It's quite possible there could be a 3 way tie for title this year. Ponder that for the next 6 weeks..

The MT-Troy matchup will be huge. That's the only one MT game I can go to this year so we're going to win obviously.
