I hate when new logos are retroactively applied to old banners.

That's easy, DON'T CHANGE YOUR EFFIN LOGO AND COLORS EVERY OTHER TUESDAY!!

personally, i think it'd be awesome if the banners all matched, but the logo matched the era it was won in

Agree!!! So some respect for our history, c'mon!!! If you're going to act like this was it, then don't call us and solicit for money.

Last year they replaced the old banners to match the 'new' (at that time) 2011 NCAA tournament banner. At that time, they matched what was the current logo ("Denver Broncos circa 1989") and got rid of the yellow banner with brown letters from the colors even before, which was what they were when they won the 86 ccha. They look a lot better all matching.

History and tradition don't mean much here, I fear. It's all about selling tee shirts. How often do other schools change their colors and their logo? Not too often do I see that happen.

A lot more in the last 10 years. WMU was just ahead of the curve by about 3-4 years.

I love diversity. If we all had the exact same opinions it would get very stagnant very quickly. To me, the mercantile mentality involved is cheap and tawdry. Again, that is just my opinion.

Here's the list of logo changes based on the Helmet Project and ignoring all the one time use helmets. non-BCS schools change constantly. The only ones that don't are those who have equity in their logo/helmet being something recognizable, apparently.
