It's beyond a farce its now a pure tool of propaganda.. Some are given out without regard for actual accomplishment, it's about making someone or something look good..

Greeks are pissed at the EU and rioting in the streets. I'll Grant you that Greeks rioting is hardly noteworthy.

Our friends in Oslo jumped the shark a long time ago. But this really does cross into the realm of self-parody. From now on, there is simply no possible way to look at the Nobel "Peace" prizes as anything other than a sick joke.

I know it won't happen. But every time Nigel Farage makes a speech, I wish he'd become Prime Minister.

Mostly because he would tell the EU-overlords where to get off. But also it would be awesome to have a British PM named Nigel.

Did they give Obama another Nobel prize yet in economics for his handling of the debt, rapid gdp and job growth the last 4 years? He should get another peace prize in his second term for the peace and stability he brought to the middle east by his apology tour and Cairo speech that won over our enemies, ended the war terror and ended all civil unrest in the middle east. And the lasting peace produced great joy in that part of the world that Libya, Egypt, Syria, Tunisa, Yemen are so stable where only one US ambassador was killed along with three others and atleast 3 of our embassys burned to the ground. We also got Iran four years closer to getting a nuclear weapon. Everything is going so smooth in the middle east that no face to face meetings were needed during the UN general assembly and that our allies can just relax the next four more years with the more space we give our enemies that are suppling Assad forces in Syria.
