Yes, let us vote for the ASUN Players of Year Awards
Per from Su's website....(http://www.gohatters.com/ViewArticle.dbm...=205710706)

"Fans can vote for the Preseason Player of the Year, Defensive Player of the Year, and in the Preseason Fan Poll. The conference took the top vote getters from the A-Sun Coaches' Preseason ballots and put the decision up to the fans.

The winners of the fan polls will be included in the Preseason All-Conference release on Thursday, October 18th. The deadline to vote is Thursday, October 18th at 1 p.m. ET so make sure to get your votes in."

This doesn't even make sense to me. The conference will give the "decision to the fans"? "The winners of the fan polls will be INCLUDED in the..."

What does any of this mean? That fans will be able choose or will be slightly regarded?

It's not as though any of the fans of the ASUN give a **** about the ASUN.

Someone bring sense to this mystery.

They do a fan poll on Facebook for the awards so the league can give out 3 different sets of Preseason All-Conf. stuff. Coaches, Media and Fans.

The fan polls are just popularity contests to see what school has the most social media-active people. Clearly it appears to be FGCU.

Time for you to get a Facebook page and vote!!! Facebook and Twitter puts info up faster than any of the other website. Like it or not, social media is part of every sport's team and the flow of information.
