Wisconsin School Bus Driver Reportedly Told Boy He Should Have Been Aborted Because Of Romney Yard Sign...

This is a pretty clear display of whats wrong with politics today. I can't remember a time when the nation was so divided. Thanks Obama.

Digusting intolerance of the left

A Wisconsin school bus driver has been fired after reportedly telling a 12-year-old boy he should have been aborted because his family supports Mitt Romney.

The boy's mother, identified as "Debbie," tells WISN's Vicki McKenna that the 78-year-old bus driver started bullying the boy about two weeks ago, when the family first placed a Mitt Romney yard sign outside their New Berlin home.

"The bus driver started making comments like, 'The only reason your parents are Romney fans is because they're rich,' things like that," Debbie said.

But when students on the bus started Romney chants this week, the driver started a political conversation with the boy, prompting him to point out that Obama is pro-choice, according to conservative blog Freedom Eden. The students attend a local Catholic school.

The driver allegedly retorted, "Maybe your mom should have chosen abortion for you."

The company operating the bus -- Durham School Services -- initially suspended the driver for the day, pending an investigation, and then reassigned her from the Catholic school route to services for the New Berlin Public Schools. In a statement Wednesday, Durham announced its decision to ultimately terminate the driver for making "an inappropriate remark to a child."

"Prior to this incident, the driver had an incident-free record while serving the community as a Durham school bus driver for more than 20 years," according to the statement. "Notwithstanding, the driver's remark was insensitive and inappropriate. Durham has apologized to the family. We remain strongly committed to the safe transportation of students in the community."

Post racial president, my azz. Class warfare from the oval office. Everything Obama has done is a failure. Hopefully come January Obama will be building houses along side Carter and Clinton. Both Clintons.

I guess it's now New Berlin's problem. If I told a client (paying customer) that he "should've been aborted", I'd lose my job in a heartbeat. Not moved to a different office in the building.

A microcosm of where class warfare leads us. Clearly this elderly bus driver is cranky with how her life played out and is perpetually resentful of those who found more success in life. But lashing out at 12-year-olds? Instead of trying to enjoy life for what it is/was despite its lemons, she'll go to her grave bitter at perfect strangers who happen to have bigger houses and cars.

To be fair, this all started happening before Obama. I believe the advent of the Internet and 24/7 cable news networks provided the mechanism for all this "divisiveness" that people talk about. It's a barrage of (often biased, charged-up) information, and you can find niche media sources to fit your viewpoint and damn everyone else's. Don't get me wrong... it's better to have all this information at our fingertips and have platforms to share opinions, but it all doesn't come without its uglier sides.

Hateful Republicans throwing a poor old working girl out of a job.

If a bus driver ever told my child that, they'd have to pull mama off her to fire her.

Or, and follow me here, an idiot is just being an idiot?

Nahhh...it's far more fun, not too mention not as difficult to remember your own stances, when you demonize the other side into obscene caricatures. F*ck the fact it's intellectually dishonest and bad for the country, who cares, right?

You obviously missed the context of what was being said in these examples. Your post is a much better example of an idiot being an idiot.

Since you don't understand, here's a brief explanation.

Not that long ago an Ohio special ed teacher was caught verbally abusing one of her wards. That's a jerk being a jerk.

In these instances, you have a leftist abusing a kid based on his parents' politics. In a state that has been the epicenter of recent strife over politics, including treasonous abandonment of responsibilities by elected officials.

In Philly you had voter intimidation (again by the left) in the last general election. All that in addition to the fact that the government service unions have caused strife throughout the country.

This strife continues to come from the left, and efforts to project on the TEA Party movement are repeatedly demonstrated to be fiction.

Denying all of this, or even insisting on ignoring it, does qualify one as an idiot.
