Good for South Carolina and Kansas State. I also like seeing Notre Dame at the top (I'm surrounded by Notre Dame alumnae in my office).

I also want Ohio State to go undefeated so very badly.

My initial thought was that they would replace Georgia. You could be right.

LSU and USC likely the only one loss teams at this point still alive for a national title.

USC because they still play Oregon, possibly twice and Notre Dame.
LSU because they still play Alabama and South Carolina and if they win a SC/Florida/Georgia.
I guess the same applies for Georgia- but they just do not look elite at all.

Ohio State has been a surprise, although like FSU, their schedule is not tremendous.

That was quick...AP...

1- Alabama
2- Oregon
3- SCarolina
4- Florida
5- West Virginia
6- KState
7- Notre Dame
8- Ohio State
9- LSU
10- Oregon State

I would have guessed USC instead of Oregon State...but they are undefeated.

Ohio State can't play for a title tho can they? I thought they were on NCAA probation.

No they can't. Can't play in the Big Ten title game or in a bowl for one year.

#23 Tenn...come on. That's like saying #6 Arkansas or #8 Michigan.

A&M hasn't proven anything..hell they barely beat Ole Miss.

Winning at College Station and at Neyland are two big wins. both of those teams are solid but not great. Still, winning sec road games is a notable accomplishment.

Almost every season Georgia enters the season with high hopes.
Almost every season, by the end, those hopes have fizzled.

TAMU is better than they get credit for, I think. They had a bad game in Oxford with six turnovers, but this is a team that played Florida close for their only loss and has both an offense and defense that ranks in the top 15 in the country. They also have perhaps the best special teams unit in the country.

They have back-to-back at MSU and Alabama. Don't think they'll beat Bama, but if they can beat MSU, a 10-2 season is certainly possible.
