Oh please. It is a government site and all government sites have a left wing bias.

Reality? This is realistic? So you think he'll get over 67% of the vote in Iowa? Care to make a bet?

Where did I say Obama would get 67% of the vote?
There were 1.5 million votes cast in Iowa in 2008, and this represents only 10% of that total. (It will probably wind up more, as voter turnout should be down across the country from 2008.) It's a long uphill climb for Romney from here is all I'm saying. I would consider Iowa a strong Obama lean, and if you want to make a bet on Obama winning I'm all ears.

What quota did the party give you? Vote 10 times or more?

Do they give you multiple ballots at once, or do they make you get back in line every time?
Wait. What am I thinking? That would be racist.

I didn't mean to imply that Obama will win with 67% of the vote. This is probably an indication of Dem voter enthusiasm and the organizational success of the Obama campaign (to get Dems who might not be able to make it to the polls to sign up for an absentee ballot). Either way, it's bad to be down 80,000 votes before the polls open on election day. With this published it wouldn't even surprise me if Romney pulls out of Iowa.

Why are you so stupid?
Just because 80k more Dems have asked for ballots than R's does not mean that Romney is 80k votes down idiot.
Your stupidity has to be painful.

Why of course. All Democrats and liberals vote 10 times. That's the only way we ever win. Just another in the long line of reasons the poor poor Republicans are held back in America.
It's just soooo sad.

No, we really vote more than once. That's the only way to explain how we keep winning elections. Haven't you gotten the memos?

Clearly you fell down on the job in 2010 when the country swept your party out of office in record numbers.

Romney needs Ohio, Florida, NC and Virginia. He wins those he is the next president. All four of those states within striking distance. He wins the debates he surges past Obama.

Long lines in Dem precincts mark Iowa opening early vote
http://www.desmoinesregister.com/
Quote:Dems predominant in early Iowa voting
EARLY VOTING IN IOWA: The first ballots are in, and judging from the myriad of Obama stickers, buttons, signs and campaign volunteers enthusiastically trawling down the line in front of the election office, in Polk County most of the ballots so far were for President Barack Obama.
http://www.boston.com/politicalintellige...story.html
Quote:While Romney is expected to do well in Iowa’s rural areas, Boggus said the Des Moines polling station had taken on the feel of an Obama campaign rally.
“There was not a single Romney person. There was cheering, we were taking photographs. Everyone was fired up and ready to go to cast votes for Obama,” Boggus added, referring to one of the president’s signature lines during his first run four years ago.
“Close to 200 people” were lined up before 8 a.m., Erin Seidler, the Obama campaign’s Iowa communications director, said early Thursday of the main Des Moines polling site.
Obama’s re-election campaign takes pride in having an extensive get-out-the-vote effort in the Hawkeye State, where the president has 67 field offices compared to Romney’s 14. Not all polling places open early -- voters petition for sites in their areas.

The first day of early voting in Polk County was busier than ever for election staff.
By 4 p.m., 550 people had cast ballots at the Polk County Election Office. In 2008, 100 people voted on the first day but that number had been far eclipsed by 11 a.m.
Of those, 401 were registered Democrats, 90 were Republicans, 57 had no party affiliation and two were affiliated with other parties, said Polk County Auditor Jamie Fitzgerald.
