Schedule Predictions as of 9-23-12
With the way things have played out, there is an outside chance we could go undefeated from here on, but only because our schedule is somewhat weaker than anticipated.
So far we are 3-1. UAB gave Ohio St some problems yesterday and probably will not be a "gimme". With a native Tulsan in charge, we may see a motivated team Sat. But on face, if we don't just give it away, we are the better team.
After that, we play another road game in probably a tough environment at Marshall. We are now one of the frontrunners so we'll take everyones best shot. I beleive we are definitely the best team in CUSA at 21 positions. The question is that 22nd.
Then comes a short layoff (5 days) and UTEP (a dangerous team that will definitely put even more fear in CG's head). Rice is, well, Rice and they are better than most years, but we play it here.
Then comes the "away" stretch of at Arkansas, at Houston a home contest with UCF (that could settle a lot of conference issues) and SMU in in Dallas.
I predict we could possibly win them all, but with our QB play right now, I see us probably losing 2 or even 3 more.
This is a good year to play SMU in Dallas and Houston on the road, but we should always beware of UCF - anywhere.
BTW, we should all root for Iowa St. They are undefeated at the moment and any big wins they get is a good thing for us being ranked at some point.
