First: the term "father daughter" dance is not literal. If the mother had a brother who was helpful and kind or the Girls grandfather...

Second: This is a result of the "equal outcome" society. Get ready for more of this foolishness.

On the upside, it's somewhat comforting that 96.5% disagreed with it in the little poll on the page.

What a bunch of hogwash. These committee members are gutless f's and should be removed, tarred and feathered along with the woman that complained.

Of course max would explain to us that we should just accept this as these the makers of these rules are duly elected representatives of the people.

This will only get worse with gays and lesbos adopting more and more kids. How many schools have a father-father-daughter night?

The "Top" has to take the kid to the dance. The "Bottom" gets to take them to cheer leading clinics. Problem solved.
