So you admit your hypocrisy and agenda-driven bias for trying to make a big deal out of the Romney "47%" video while downplaying the Obama "redistribution" video, just like Fox News did the other way around?

Keep playing that false equivalency card. It just continues to show the rampant desperation of the Romney supporters.

But I totally support Obama's words in that 14 year old video:

Quote:There has been a systematic — I don’t think it’s too strong to call it a ‘propaganda campaign’ against the possibility of government action and its efficacy. And I think some of it has been deserved. The Chicago Housing Authority has not been a model of good policy making, and neither necessarily has been the Chicago Public Schools. What that means then is that as we try to resuscitate this notion that we’re all in this thing together, leave nobody behind, we do have to be innovative in thinking what are the delivery systems that are effective and meet people where they live…

I think the trick is figuring out how do we structure government systems that pool resources and hence facilitate some redistribution, because I actually believe in redistribution, at least at a certain level, to make sure everybody’s got a shot.”

That sounds… perfectly reasonable? And consistent with what Barack Obama has been saying all along? No matter. Republicans have simply picked out a single word — “redistribution” — and are now pretending that the 1998 audio is just as damning as Mitt Romney’s truly remarkable disdain for 47% of the American population.

So you won't admit your own hypocrisy about doing the same thing Fox did (not just in this thread...but in every thread you start about Romney, trying to make a trivial matter into a legitimate issue), erroneously call me a Romney supporter (even though I have Gary Johnson and Ron Paul in my signature and have stated numerous times I'm voting for Johnson), and then post an article from a left-wing blog that says Romney's statement shows he has "remarkable disdain for 47% of the American population" in a thread you started about a media outlet being biased and taking things out of context. Unbelievable. 03-lmfao

A major party nominee for president calling 47% of the country moochers who see themselves as victims is a "big deal." It's pretty much unprecedented to have a person of that stature bash 150 million Americans, and Rasmussen's 3-day tracking poll has moved 3 points in the last day.

I'm giving Romney the ultimate critique with my actions by not voting for him. You're the one who's going to be endorsing Obama policies with your vote.

Bull**** Mountain erupts again!

[Image: fox-and-friends-israel-pirate-cropped-pr...tom_28.jpg]

http://tpmdc.talkingpointsmemo.com/2012/...el.php?m=1
Quote:“TOO BUSY FOR ISRAEL / PRESIDENT FINDS TIME FOR PIRATE, LETTERMAN,” Fox and Friends’ screen read Thursday. “This pirate got a sit-down in the Oval Office yesterday,” Fox and Friends co-host Brian Kilmeade said on-air. “So much for the Middle East peace. The White House doesn’t even have time to meet with Israel, but the president got a private sit-down with a pirate yesterday in the Oval Office. Sorry, Bibi,” Steeve Doocy added.

One small problem: the photo was taken in May 2009 for use as a joke during the White House Correspondents’ dinner.

So, wasting government resources frivolously is okay because it was 3 years ago?
