And yet...
Quote:Obama's lead over Romney narrows

So, why didn't the GOP put up a real candidate?

Well, when you have limp-dicked so-called conservatives in a competition with the Progs to trash Romney, what else do you expect?

More than a few quality candidates bought into the stupidity that Obama was unbeatable and figured they would wait for 2016. It was a major miscalculation.

With this idiot in office and our economic state, it shouldn't matter if they ran Mickey Mouse. It only shows how gdamn STUPID the American citizenry has become. This country is done if they're STUPID enough to vote for big ears again.

If the Republicans had run somebody with an ounce of charisma, he'd have had a shot.

Look at Obama and the cult of personality. His first term has been a disaster, and everyone still loves hime because he's just do damn cool.

THAT is where America is.

03-lmfao Well, according to Sanitarium...er Santorum, smart people will never vote for Republicans. Which certainly explains your voting Republican.

Wonder how much Dems were oversampled by to get this result? Latest CBS poll had a +13 advantage for Dems.

Don't believe the polls folks.

Wow that is a really ugly cluster... Are they going off of 2008 turnout?

Largely.

The registered voter models are the worst though. As of the end of August registered republicans had a +4% advantage over registered dems. Yet the majority of registered voter polls oversample dems by 4 to 6% on average.

The majority is the 2008 election turnout but also that the Dems in 2008 had almost an 8% advantage in affiliation.

Yep, all the projections are STILL based on the '08 turnout numbers.. which may happen, but I seriously doubt it.

The trick is to deduct about 10% off whatever lead the polls show for COTUS. This will help offset the bias toward polling only largely Democratic/liberal subsets of the population.

November 6 will be telling, indeed.
