I've been making a big deal of this game b/c this could send ND up to the top again, but this helps the BE, for some reason the BE has a good year when the Irish do really good in Football since ever team but football joined the BE
Go Irish beat Trojans

Ok I hope the Irish will win, but somehow some way USC always find a way to come through. I think they are beating people based on our talent. Soon or later, they gonna regret they lost Norm Chow. Do I think ND can win at home? I think so. I am tired of seeing the same team on top, so I hope Irish can knock off USC.

When will ND start playing 3 or 4 BE games a year? Is it in 2009?

Thank yo MU.

Notre Dame in no way helps the Big East in football. I could care less about Notre Same.

Go take your Notre Shame stuff to a USC board or a Notre Shame board. This is a BIG EAST Board.

ND won't win - UCS is on a level all their own now - almost a semi-pro team.

BTW - ND winning in football doesn't do jack-squat for the Big East.

I hope ND wins and goes to the BCS. This will mean ND will not take the Gator Bowl slot which is good for the BE. Lets go Irish and I hope they will upset USC one way or another.

Notre Dame will only win if they score more points than USC.

If ND plays it close but ends up a L, I think they still will see BCS at 9-2 quite possibly. Syracuse fans will take offense, but after Saturday, their only dangerous game left is with Tenn. And the Volunteers are not at their best right now. I'm not sure Tenn can score enough to stay in that game.

To play Devil's Adovocate, take a look at ND's schedule. Not NEAR as hard as it appeared in August. I mean seriously, it's like a who's who of underachievers this year.

Pitt, Purdue, Michigan, Syracuse, Tenn,...then no one expected a ton out of BYU, UW, and Stanford but those 3 managed to be way worse than even the low standard most were holding them to this year.

You do have 2 big exceptions with USC and Michigan St (overachieving by wide margin). Just worked out strange for them, I'd claim the only schools they play that are around where we expected 2 months ago are USC & Navy. We all know about USC & then Navy is 2-2 and while maybe slightly dangerous, just not near as good as last year with the huge senior class of star players that they lost.

Us Cuse fans do take offense to that statement. Cuse is still a dangerous team, only were dangerous to ourselves. :D
