While I dislike the level of grammar used on twitter, I think it's a great tool for recruiting and a relatively safe avenue for self-expression. That is, as long as the staff gives the team a thorough overview of the Twitter privacy settings and the importance of representing the school with a sense of decorum.

The players are just going to use aliases instead.

I love it when Wilder was shocked at the fact that one of his players had 1000 followers. "I told them that nobody in this room, including me, should have 1,000 followers on Twitter. We haven't done anything yet."

My prediction is somewhere down the road when we aren't whooping Duquesne or Hampton any more, he backs down on his twitter stance.
