Looks like I'll be 0-1 this week to start. I figured USF had until at least October before they look like poo and collapse. Not this year I guess.

This game was gross. I can't believe USF lost :(. 0-1 for me too.

I hope the Friday game turns out better. I need Wash St to win. Originally I put them in the pick em to begin with because I mistook Nevada for UNLV. Once I realized that I changed my pick to Wash State. Hopefully BYU just had a killer pass defense and Mike Leach can actually put up some points with his team that averaged 40+ a game last year.

to be fair- this weekends schedule is not that good. There's only 4 games where both teams are ranked in at least 1 of the polls.
USC @ Stanford
Alabama @ Arkansas
Notre Dame @ Michigan St
Florida @ Tennessee
That's it. Not exactly the best slate of games we've seen. I can somewhat see it only in how good Tennessee looked vs NC State, and Florida in the 2nd half vs Texas A&M. Truthfully, I'm shocked they're not at Notre Dame/Michigan St- though I'm wondering if ND wins vs Mich St, they go to Notre Dame next week when Michigan comes in. Esp now, with the ACC news this week.

ESPN can't promote ND any more. They're one of those weak ACC schools now.

I think Lou Holtz would have something to say about that :)

I will say this- I miss so much when they had Chris Fowler, Corso, and Herbstreidt calling the Thursday night games together. Watching last night was painful listening to those guys.

It was also painful because the football was so bad. Hopefully Wash. St. vs. UNLV tonight will be better. I've missed college football so much over the off season, that I'll watch any game.

The game didn't help that much, but the broadcasters they have aren't good....
btw, that spin move the Rutgers RB did late was as good of a move as I've seen in a while....
I miss Tess and Rob Gilmore on Friday nights....

I will tell you guys how the Miami game goes. Hopefully, it's a blowout. I have heard that BCU is taking 10 buses to the game - 3 are for the players and 7 are for the band. I'm excited to see their band, and I'm pumped to start the year with ours... Go Canes!

Anybody watching the Wash. St. at UNLV game? If so, how did Wash. St. score their 3 touchdowns? I just started watching and missed the early scores.

All i've seen were two 50 yard bombs from WSU and a 60+yard bomb from UNLV.

Saw the final 10 mins in a bar. Washington State coached that game to lose epicly the last 2 minutes. Worst 2 minute drill in history.

Barring WF springing the upset again, it's all but certain gameday is going to be in Tallahassee for Clemson-Florida State next week, making the choice of UT-UF over MSU-ND even more mystifying. I suppose they could be saving their ND games for OU and USC later in the season, but then you wonder about Florida being involved 2 of the first three weeks.

Reasonably, ESPN should have Gameday in East Lansing today and Tallahassee next week.

Pitt score first. Boooooooooo. Reminds me of the BE when Pitt would save their best game for VT.

Pitt is still learning the offensive and defensive schemes. I will be surprised if they don't improve as the year goes on.

it's almost like Pitt bored with everything else and treated this game like it's their super bowl. VT better wake up or this could be a beatdown.
