And continuing to pray for all who are affected by cancer. May effective cures be found soon, and may this terrible disease one day be eradicated from Earth.

I am sorry to pass on the news of brother Den's passing last night, shortly before
midnight. Like a true ECU pirate, he waited until his team had won the game before
leaving us. He was an amazing brother, friend and father, and left an indelible mark on
this world of ours. Heaven truly has called another angel home.

From me: Den went out with a bang last night by clearing out the stadium. I will miss
him terribly. Heaven received a wonderful person last night.

Den, you will be missed!!!!!!

I never knew Den but from reading the posts about him written by people that I respect I know we lost a great Pirate. Did he post on any boards other than BYB? I always avoided that place because of the format and the horror stories but now I feel like I missed out on "meeting" a true Pirate.

I think vast majority of his post were on BYB. I think he occasionally posted here. I don't go to other boards, so I am unsure with those.

He posted on BYB, PI (Pirate Illustrated), HTC, here, and ran ECUTTY.

Someone on BYB mentioned TH was wearing a tie given to him by Den. A nice tribute to a good man.
