Cowboy Junky Wrote:You guys scheduled those teams when you we're in CUSA. The Big East plays no one ooc and your schedule will reflect that in about 5 years. Aside from your 3 wins against BCS teams, do you know your entire conference accounted for one victory against the BCS so far?
Louisville can only control what they do, the rest of the conference will have to take care of there own school's

And one more thing, all school's schedule years in advance. So for you to say that all those games were schedule before we entered the Big East.

1. We play home and home with Kentucky every year, and have since 94.

2. The Oregon St. game was added after we left C-USA to make up for the game we were supposed to play against a mandatory C-USA game.

Wheeeew,
don't let me ever get on some of you guy's bad side. stinging...biting retorts. Some of these fools don't know when to leave bad enough alone. If I was getting my A** chewed like that, I'd climb in a hole and be real quiet and real still....like a good troll. :stupid:

Why would anyone climb in a hole to hide from the Big East. The only school that would do that is Buffalo, a team the Big East racked up three wins against ooc. Earth to castaway pansies from the Big East: no one is afraid of you at all, your conference sucks!!

Fools rush in....only a fool feels no fear. The bottom line is there is some strange attraction for MWC and C-USA fans to this board. Do you all post on the other conference boards like this....like flies swarming and being pesky. Like a dog not yet house broken pooping everywhere. hanging around where you are not wanted....anyway. If you were a good neighbor just trading info and being encouraging it would be different. Some posters from other conferences do that....but the majority, I don't understand. Don't you have anything better to do that hang around our house, listening in on our conversation, starting sh!t, and trying to make it miserable over here. You don't have to go home....but please get the he!! up out of here.

It's too sweet to not revel in the glory of seeing the Big East fall flat on it's face. Mike Trangese and Big East people created the BCS. Now, the Big East got screwed over by the same techniques they used to cheat at college football for the last 30 years. I find it very entertaining to listen to Big East fans that get BCS cartel money and have voting blocks claiming superiority, when they haven't beat anyone of the field all year. The only team to beat a BCS team in the Big East this year is WVU. Louisville wasn't a member of the Big East that created the BCS, so I won't count their wins against the BCS for the Big East. All the old school Big East schools suck. The only teams doing anything for the Big East are USF, UCONN, and Louisville. I am a huge fan of irony and karma, and it just doesn't get any better than this.

I think the BigEast shouldn't have a BCS bid. But then, I think nobody should have a BCS bid ... b/c a playoff is the only solution. It's inexcusable to not have at least a 4 team playoff.

Sorry to halt any dreams; but should the BE lose its bid; it won't be going to the MWC.... it will be at-large. The only way I see it going to a conference is if it's pooled b/t the best team available from multiple conferences... (SEC-ACC) (SEC-ACC-Big12) ... that sort of thing... which is very unlikely.

I really believe the BCS will give Big east all the time it needs to get better. BCS level recruiting will help USF/Cincy grow even faster in there states and allow other Big East schools to only get stronger

Look at Rutgers over the past 4 years this team has grown from being in a BCS conference and is able to recruite Florida. Same with Young Uconn,USF teams

I say in 4 years the Big East cacoon will shed away and we will see the Butterfly that the Big East football conference really is :D [B]

I don't care who you are, that is funny. Rutgers grown over last four years. In the last four years they have lost to Buffalo...Buffalo.

Did being a BCS league help Temple? Duke? Vanderbilt?

Ok then dummy, If you wont count Louisville's wins for the BE, then dont count Miami', VT and BC wins for the acc. In fact, count their wins for the BE. :stupid:

You see how stupid you sound little billy goat? Thats why noone takes you serious.

And what are you reveling about? 03-confused The BE is the one with the BCS. And if you believe what you continuously harp on here, about all of the tv sets that the BE has, the bcs is not going anywhere. So, since we have the bcs, and we are much better than the mwc, what do you have to revel about? please enlighten us oh stupid one.

What do the following teams have in common dummy?

Miami, VT, Florida ST, Virginia, Georgia Tech, Notre Dame, Oregon St, North Carolina.

They are all teams that the BE has played this season. I dare you to compare the MWC out of conference schedule to this. Speaking of lightweights like Buffalo, at least none of our teams lost to a sunbelt team.

Regarding the bolded text above, I don't know how to say this other than that you are a complete friggin idiot. No seriously, I TRULY hope you are not this stupid off the internet. That makes ZERO sense. :stupid:

You claim UofL won't play BCS teams in future years. Is that why we just scheduled the OSU series in the last 16 months? Or that we play them in 2010 at their place. Or UK every single year. Or have Miami (FL) at our place next year. Or that we are in talks with G Tech for a home and home. We also have a home and home with Utah, @ UofL in '07 & @ Utah in '09. Do you not approve of that? After all they are not a BCS team, so I hope you approve!

As for non-conference records, even excluding I-AA schools, the Big East STILL has a better record this year than the MWC. You know why? We don't have a losing non-conference record like the MWC does. That's right, you are under .500 when excluding I-AA's.

As for claiming we beat up on scrubs, how about these facts...here's how many opponents we have each played that have been ranked this year:

BE-8
MWC-7

Oops, there goes that argument!

How about the 1 common non-conference opponent that our leagues have. On back to back weeks we have:

UNC 31 - Utah 17
UofL 69 - UNC 14

Don't bring your lame sheep humping self back here unless you want to bring something besides lame unproven claims, you might even try facts.

P.S.- Did you ever think about the fact that you are counting TCU's win over a weak Oklahoma squad, yet aren't counting UofL's wins when the Frogs and Cards shared the same league for most of this decade prior to this season? OOPS again, didn't think about that I'm sure!
