Tech would refuse a bowl bid before they would play ULM in a bowl. They have already pressured the Independence Bowl to invite Northern Illinois instead of a bowl eligible UL or ASU.

They must not understand how the bowl selection works. With UL and ULM both listed, the Cajuns would probably be in N.O. with ULM in the Go Daddy.

I agree. if you get blown out by Duke (Duke got blown out by Stanford) and then have to take the worst program in FBS(Akron) into OT to beat them, they wont be a Top SBC team.

FIU will get blown out by UCF this weekend. ( UCF blew Akron out)

N.O. Bowl ulm v latech??? I call that the Lucy bowl. Very tantalizing to consider but someones going to snatch the ball away and that bowl matchup will never happen.

But assuming it does, and both teams bring their tarps, maybe together they may draw the 40K we brought.

I'm intrigued by the bowl in Mobile, because it means more practice time, but I can get to NO in 2 hrs and party like it's 2011, all over again.

Still way too early for this.
