Halftime - Pitt 16-0

Could be better, could be worse.

UC had a wide open reeceiver in the end zone evidently but Davila missed him. Grutza started, was yanked, Davila did nothing, Grutza back in. UC simply cannot run the ball and this hurts the passing game.

UC has started nearly every drive from within their own 20, most inside the 15.

Pitt has missed several opportunities for TD's and settled for field goals. They have dominated the line of scrimmage. Pitt blocked a punt which led to an easy TD.

Hopefully UC can score - but right now our offense can't do anything.

Pitt has 10 points off special teams and 3 off an int..their offense hasn't dominated anything....UC has an inept offense.....The defense keeps shutting down pitt, but we just keep giving them the ball back with great field position....hard to win when you go 3 and out every possession and they only have 40 yds to go.....doesn't sound like davila did any better than grutza....neither can hit a wide open receiver in the end zone.....maybe we'll have better 2nd half....

Offense and special teams couldn't be ANY worse

Defense is playing well. Only TD is a 6 yard drive after a blocked F-ing punt

I'm happy with the defense though. Pitt's had a short field nearly every time.

I do not understand why Grutza is back in the game?

He has played poorly for 2 and 1/2 games. Davilla has been given 3 series. I guess Coach Dantonio is only interested in the self-confidence of Grutza and not Davilla.

I question why Grutza even got the opportunity to start. And he's back in there?

Grutza to Jackson - 55 yards!

Leads to a UC TD.

Quick strike by the Bearcats.

Nope. And there are probably a lot of people happy about that. J/K, but this is frustratingly bad.

That is a scary thought for Cat fans, b/c frankly, that is 1 major area where Pitt has been dominated themselves all year long.

Pitt didn't dominate the line of scrimmage at all....They scored 17 points off special teams and an int.....Cincy dropped 2 td passes and got 0 points as well as missing a field goal.....

Pitt had field position the whole game due to special teams and Cincy not being able to move the ball in the 1st half.

On a positive note the defense played very weel and Grutza came back to life after being yanked in the 1st half.
