That is how I would rank them. It's hard to tell where UNT is because they played a really good team in LSU and a FCS team; we'll learn more about this team when they play Troy.

I agree. Good rankings. ULM is the definite #1.

Also I just watched highlights of one of ULM's interceptions of Arkansas and you could hear pretty loud cheers of "U-L-M! U-L-M!" in the background afterwards. Neat!! So pumped. Go Warhawks!!

I see it just a little different...

The Good- These teams are legit
1. ULM -The undisputed biggest win in Sun Belt history!
2. Louisiana -Beat Troy by 13 on the road

The Unimpressive- A contender or two might be in this group
3. FIU/ASU - Won games but were too close
5. UNT - easy win over weak FCS team
6. WKU - Hey, it was Bama
7. Troy - Lost at home by 13
8. MTSU - Pillow fight champs!

The Ugly- Their seasons might already be over
9. USA - The "Bottom 10" is coming for you
10. FAU - At least the stadium will still be new next year, because nobody's going to sit in it this season.

ULM - Beyond impressive
ULL - Solid away victory
WKU - Not embarassed by Alabama
NT - Unimpressive win, despite 500 yrds gained, offensive questionable
ASU - Closer margin than expected but anything can happen in rivalry game
FIU - Again closer than anticipated, but good ending
Troy - That conference dominance thing can be hard to continue
MTSU - Pillow fight maybe, but a win
USA - FB divison jump is not easy
FAU - A long way to go

That is quality right there.. If there was one change, maybe swap Ark St and WKY...only because one of stAtes wins was a 1A and WKY victory was a 1AA...thats just me.

I don't know what stAte has on defense really - so I don't disagree with putting them 4th or 5th.

Notes on the Memphis Game
Memphis is a much better coached team than a year ago.
Special teams killed stAte - Memphis punted us inside the 20 7 times, and got a punt block TD and a fumbled punt return TD.
stAte was without 4 starters on offense - and had to play a true freshman center the whole game - but we ran up 619 yards.
Held Memphis to 293 yards.
Memphis did not turn the ball over.
