Yep, ULM can definitely count this game. Wow. I am still reeling from the reality of it. GO ULM!!

Also, the NCAA has the game listed at 170% capacity for ULM. lol. Now, to have 170% capacity for the Baylor game!! 04-rock

That's a pretty cool report. It will interesting to watch over the season to see who isn't maintaining that 15k attendance numbers that the NCAA eligidly requires to maintain D-IA status.

RE: Attendance
The NCAA won't enforce that rule, they can't afford to right now.
My wife was sick (pregnant) or we were going to ease over to the Boro for the MT game.
Glad they won last night, hopefully the ship is straightened out some.

RE: Attendance
The NCAA dropped the attendance rule a couple of years ago. ULM no longer needs the Little Rock games for averages. However, if we keep this up we'll be just fine with our own home games.

RE: Attendance
Wasn't it technically a home game for Arkansas. They had there name on the feild and the game was listed as ULM @ Arkansas. Just curious. I think if it's an away game it makes the win that much more impressive.

Congrats to the Warhawks! Can't wait to go up there, it's going to be another great game.

Nope. It was technically a home game for ULM. I don't know why the Arkansas logos were on the field... But yeah it was "technically" a ULM home game, as evidenced by the box scores. It was totally an away game though, lol.

Definitely exciting matchup between UL and ULM!! Whoo!

Technically it's a ULM home game, but the agreement allows for Arkansas to have everything else, which includes being the home team on the scoreboard, home jerseys, concessions etc. I think we also get short changed on the number of tickets allocated to us.

A huge, huge win for ULM and I have given them numerous props last night and this morning...deservedly so.. But there needs to be an asterisk by those attdce numbers..also why the disclaimer concerning NT being on TV??? UL had a driving monsoon and it was on TV and LSU was playing their opening home game at the same time....didnt see any mention of that when attsce numbers came out last week.. ??

Bogus..

RE: Attendance
Arkansas does that because they are required by the state to play so many games per year in Little Rock. So what happens is they were giving up three home games PER YEAR to play at War Memorial Stadium. Ton of lost revenue, students really can't go, etc... So, they list ULM as the home team, it helps with their attendance woes, and it counts as an AWAY GAME for Arkansas. They're one of the remaining schools that has that issue, if you remember Bama/Auburn had to do to the same thing at Legion Field for years and I think even at one time Ole Miss had to play a few in Jackson, and in years they hosted Tennessee the game was always in Memphis.
Bunch of old fashioned slackjaw political crap, but it helps Monroe out, and gives Arkansas an extra game in Fayetteville.
I'm actually suprised they don't do their entire OOC schedule that way, play Monroe, La. Tech and Arkansas State every year in Little Rock and count it as a road game.

RE: Attendance
Actually, Arkansas did the deal with ULM because the Warhawks were concerned about attendance and by doing it that way, Arkansas was able to lock in a multi-year money game at $500,000 instead of $900,000 to $1 million.
