NOt to rain on the parade, but I have a funny feeling on that game. For some reason, I can see pitt winning that game. Yes I think USF is better but I don't know I just have a feeling pitt will win that game. Either way I don't think it will be a blow out, but if USF doesn't come to play then they will be in for a tight one. Pitt is due for atleast one good game, could that be a trap game for USF?

Well I certainly hope Pitt is preparing for USF instead of Cincinnati - that can only help the Bearcats when we play them THIS SATURDAY.

LOL that would be something if Pitt was looking ahead. I just have a feeling pitt is due atleast one good game. They will be a spoiler for some team in my opinion. I think pitt is a team to watch out for. They could easily spoil a teams chances.

Sadly I don't think this will be the case. USF is not a nationally respected team, and PITT is grasping for W's in ANY form right now...mebbe they shoulda hired cutcliffe or something.

I just think pitt could be that team that plays with nothing to lose. I think getting beat by pitt right now could be devistating for teams in the hunt. Which of course right now anything can happen. What if pitt was to win the rest of their conference games? Wouldn't that be something? I'm not saying they will but just posing the worst case scenario. I still don't think anybody should over look them because they could sneak up on a few teams who are looking ahead. They are not the ultimate trap game for a lot of teams now.

Believe me it scares me...it was just last year army took out USF @ usf. Our first homecomming loss ever. Ouch.

hell yes i'm worried about this game, usf has yet to prove they can win on the road, pitt has nothing to lose, our receivers haven't proven they can consistently catch the ball, pj is still woefully inaccurate, and we're still a very young team overall. having said that pitt's rushing defense is horrible and they lack speed on both sides of the ball. usf's defense is playing out of their minds this year and are well coached. but until they can prove we can win on the road we can't afford to take any teams for granted. all conference games will be a battle, if our team expects to win out we need to get things together offensively.

I hope you guys don't suffer a loss like we suffered to you. That loss to USF was probably the worst loss in UofL football history. It wasn't because the team didn't show up, it was because of what was on the line and how bad they lost. We were on our way to national respect as a team to be reckoned with in college football. Then you crash and burn and the media still won't let it go. Its going to be a while before I can forget that loss and the only way i can honestly forget about it is if we beat a top 10 opponent. So i'm hoping for the good of the conference you guys don't lose to pitt. I still dont' think people realize how bad that loss to USF we had hurt the conference perception wise. We are still taking heat for that loss and that is a dark cloud that will hang over the university of louisville for a long time, specifically until we beat a Tenn,FL,GA, or a Miami. Thats why its important to win games especially if you are favored. So if USF is favored in that game for your sake I hope you don't lay the golden egg like UofL did because believe me it will sting very bad. USF shouldn't have any business losing that game.

give usf some credit they were the better team that day, louisville is still a good team if our two teams run the table how bad will this loss look then? usf's two lossses would be against miami and a resurgent penn st team on the road. unfortunately college football is judged more on perception rather than actual play on the field. usf is slowly building their reputation we got some props during the uconn/cuse game for playing miami and penn st tough on the road.

very few people know how much talent usf has, we lead the be in recruiting 2 years ago. imo a loss today to north carolina would be far more damaging to louisville and the be reputation then your loss to a fellow conference member on the road. if you win out you should still be in the top 15 at the very least. a blow out win against a pretty good acc team would be a good start.
