$1 billion / $15.9 trillion debt (US Debt Clock) = 6.27x10^-5%... or 0.0000627%.

Doesn't make much of a difference. But it's the principle of the thing that matters. I'd like that back, even if it's 0.0000627% of our national debt... That's a start.

And how does that make any difference in the democracy of Egypt? It just gives 'em something to debate over. Right? What's a democracy if you don't have "critical" issues? Let 'em keep the debt and see how they resolve it.

It's nice of Obama to forgive the debt that the Clintons' BFF Hosni ran up while he oppressed his people with our tax dollars.
