Government is the only thing we all belong to.
As George Carlin so frequently pointed out ...... it is language that gives you away. The idea of us belonging TO GOVERNMENT and not government belong TO US is the complete opposite of what the Revolution was all about. Government has no power. We, the people, LEND the government our power. It is only through our consent that government exists.
