Dear emu steve,
I know you did not produce this poll and are not responsible for its contents, but to eliminate Boise State from the top 25 when they played a hard fought contest in losing to Michigan State, is stupid. Yes, I know they were only ranked 24 in the prior poll, but like I already said, played a hell of a game.
On the other hand, you have Michigan blown out by Alabama, and they drop, but not out of the top 20. Yes, for now, Alabama is the top team, but I bet if Boise State played them, it would have been closer score wise.

Michigan will always get the benefit of the doubt with voters.

The AP poll is a joke. Chris Fowler had MSU at #16 before week one. He has them at #17 now, after beating a ranked team. Sigh.

As for Boise, they'll be back in the top 25 in no time. That's a talented team that just needs some more experience together. They'll run through their (one and only) year in the MWC.

I don't pay too much attention to these polls, but Boise suffers because of the loss of their long time QB finished up last season.

It is hard to say how good Boise is without Kellen Moore.

It is hard to say how good Boise is without Kellen Moore.

I'll get the exact numbers wrong, but I heard that Boise State is something like #117 in experience, with 4 total returning starters (offense, defense, and special teams). Give them time, they'll be back.
