Every agencies approved it until it got to the state department and Hillary convinced Obama that they could get a gold mine in donations from the sierra club by delaying the approval until after the election at the expense of jobs and risk forcing Canada to instead deal with China for investing in the project and run it thru the Canadian Rockies to Vancouver instead. Canada likes our refineries better and the cost for them is cheaper than going over the mountains, but Obama is stalling and China is offering to build refineries in Vancouver to cut us out of the deal. Obama was more concerned about campaign donations than jobs with his energy policy in his first term. You can bet the bank he does a flip flop on the pipeline early next year.

There were some environmental concerns. I agree that it gets approved in January. Waiting a year to address the concerns is not unreasonable.

Do you seriously believe that? It's not like this was the first time a pipeline to transport oil has ever been attempted. Considering that both the U.S. and Canada has done this before, it's not like we're breaking any new ground. For this to be valid, the biggest concerns would be the corporations doing the work. In reality, it does not take a year plus for corporations to develop the safety plans to minimize environmental impacts while building and maintaining the pipeline.

Republican obstructionism? LMAO! Whatever. They send something to the Senate and that little troll from Searchlight, NV refuses to even put it on the table. Republican obstructionism my ass. Oh, and his last budgets, if you want to call them that, didn't even receive a DEMOCRAT vote in Congress.

He was given 4 years, 5.4 TRILLION dollars, and 2 years with a DEMOCRAT-controlled Congress to do whatever the fk he wanted to do and we're worse off today than we were the day he was elected. NO dynamic has improved. That f'er gets an F.
